Telephone harassement

Hi Folks !

Now someone really has reached his bottom and I would urge him to call for help or to seek some therapy.
It is one thing to be thrown out of a corp and an alliance in persona as well as with friends and altcorp. It is another thing not to be able to cope with it and to start harrassing people in real life after having badly failed to harrass our project and alliance by engaging several merc corps.

After having received two "anonymous" calls by phone where the voice is clearly identifiable. I have taken steps to record the next call and the police is already informed.

I hope for his own sake that the guy will seek a doctor's help !
Harrassement by phone just because of an online game is sick !

Let's hope that guy gets proper treatment.

Preparing the end of a stupid war

Hi Friends !

As it seems, our enemy is becoming reasonable and his PVP corporation as well as two out of three mercenary corporations have ended their wars against us.
Now we wait and see whether the third mercenary corporation ends its war as well.
With the end of the last war we will retract the war against their production corporation Investigation Enterprises or IONEN.
We have already halted all preparations to take down their POS by surprise.

By now all war statistics are positive for us.
We were able to keep stupid actions of our new members at a minimum counting only two avoidable and unneeded losses on our side. The other losses on our side were calculated risks and results of real battle, although nevertheless sometimes avoidable and thus leading to further trainings and education.

Discipline is one of the most important abilities in such times.
Our players were disciplined and followed our orders as well as they stood firm.
The quote of players who did not log in anymore has been quite small.
The quote of players who put our orders into question has been nil by now.
We have seen some deficites within our structure at war times and will handle them accordingly.

I am proud of my fellows in the Negotium Project, and all its corporations and alliances !

Now I'm preparing the medals for all those who earned them.

Greetings !

Don't think of being hopelessly surrounded, think of a target-rich environment

Hi Friends !

Some ungrown and late pubertarian minds which we removed from our project a few weeks ago have done us one of the greatest honours you can ever get as a PVP Corp and Alliance.

How could they do that ?

They declared war on us, which wouldn't be an honour by itselves, but since they had to involve about 3 Merc Corps with about 70 members trying to get any kind of control over us, this is a real great honour. If you include themselves and their production corp which count 15 Members this means they need a really overwhelming force just to have a glimpse of a chance to control us.

I'm just guessing, but with respect to current costs of mercenary corporation we guess they have spent about 1.5 to 2 billion ISK by now.

We have destroyed the fleet of the "Reborn Falcons" who now whine around like some freshly smacked teenager.

Now, what do we do with about 60 Chars against about 85 Chars ?

"Don't think of being hopelessly surrounded, think of a target-rich environment"

We will change tactics.

I have no intention to hire any mercenary corporation or alliance just to give them a heroic battle. There will be no battle and no heroic one alltogether.

There will be no safe place for any of our enemies than docked in a station or close with his friends in a well organized fleet.

We well seek out and destroy lonely missionrunners. Guys behind their fleet.
It shall be boring and it shall be demoralizing for our enemies.

I don't even dream of throwing billions of ISK out of the window for any kind of mercenary force fighting on our side. I will save my partners and my ISK and watch my enemy wasting truckloads of ISK on expensive mercenary forces sitting there like idle ducks waiting for what won't happen.

With all these wasted ISK our Enemy could have build another POS or bought another BPO or have bought several months of playing time (PLEX). Or he just wouldn't have had to buy another bucket of ISK by buying and selling GTC/PLEX.

Well, I prefer watching my Enemy loosing and wasting tons of money instead of having our folks wasting it by needlessly loosing ships or needlessly spending it so others can have good fights.

The budget of our enemy is not infinite and thus we will wait and see and attack, where it hurts.

So far we have performed quite good and our first battle was a 5:0 win and I feel really honoured when such overwhelming forces are needed to get a chance of controlling us. It shows us that our enemy doesn't take us too easily. Indeed they know our strength since they've been members of us once upon a time.

One sad thing there is. A 4 member Corp has temprarily left our alliance. We did hope they wouldn't but their CEO did. Before they left some members chose to join one of our PVP Corporations and stay firm with us and fight. We don't expect any other corporation to leave our alliance though.

We are proud that we are now officially recognized as a serious PVP Alliance just by the fact that there are massive and overwhelming forces needed to attack and control us.

Thank you for showing us this respect, Lantiane and Eld83 !

The Negotium Project a Success Story

Hi Friends out there in the wilderness of EVE Online !

Nearly two months ago we started to implement what was a mere thought before.
We built a Conglomerate consisting of a PVP Corporation a PVP Academy and an Alliance which was the Cover against cheap wars for the Academy and some Logistics-Corporations.

Not too soon after our project started, the PVP Wing, "Passion of War", got a Wardec by some Swiss guys. We had more fun chatting with each other in convos, than fighting and so we decided to cooperate and extend our capabilities.

We had another problem with one guy who didn't suit our style and our community.
Before he could do any damage to our community, I've kicked him and his friend as well as his corporation out of our project.

Our Academy has been overrun by new players and is a real success story.

With the beginning of this week our project had more than 50 players.

Another Event with the beginning of this week was a wardec on our Negotium Alliance by a newbish pseudo-Merc-Corp. Our PVP Corps then immediately joined the Alliance and shortly afterwards we got a second wardec by our two Ex-Members.

So far we absolutely control the scene. These so called mercs are heavily docking in stations or flying far far away. Well our intel says most of them are quite Newbs. We managed to shoot down a shuttle nevertheless.

Since our Ex-Member and his Friend are absolutely unable to harm us during our playing time, the went to guerillia tactics picking up Academy Newbs who didn't understand and follow our orders. One of our more experienced Warriors managed to kill an expensive Curse for retaliation.

This war indeed strengthens our community and common sense. No Logistics-Corporation has left the alliance by now, instead they fight together with the warriors. No Player has left our project now. We have grown strong and this is the base for future growth.

Well, as I see now, our ex-members have another mercs declaring war on us.
Let's see what they are worth.

Interesting times ahead.

Edit:
When you deal with Newbs there is one thing you really need: nerves !
By now we have got 3 Wardecs on us and we sent out a wardec on our enemies Logistics to tear down their POSses together with friends. The last corp wardeccing us seems to be experienced and thus really dangerous.
Now one of our pilots detects a Newb of ours in Rens doing Level3-Missions afk ...
I had my partner talk to him because I would have gotten too loud otherwise.
Maybe I should add: This guy even didn't mind loosing his TS-Password. GRMBL !

Greetings Humpfgrunz

leaving with a bleeding heart

Dear Readers !

I have been a GIS merc by today morning.
Then I left GIS for good and became CEO of my own corp: "Passion of War".

Leaving a corp which gave me so much as GIS did and where I made several friends was not easy for me. GIS was the corp, where I learnt PVP, where I had much fun.

Things changed, command changed, concepts changed and many friends left GIS.
As I began to have my difficulties I began to seek for members and friends who have already left GIS. All of them had the same reason.

We talked with each other, we had ideas what we would really want and soon a PDF was created and shared. Friends who saw that paper joined together and I had to decide whether I want to join those friends and take a leading position or whether I'd rather stay with GIS.

Since I had many friends which still were and are in GIS, this meant depending on how many friends automatically would leave with me I'd leave an earthquake behind, which was and is not my intention.

GIS has some fine people and I'd be glad if they reach their goals.

Knowing about the danger of starting an unwanted rumble in GIS it took me about four weeks and about a dozen of sleepless nights weighing in pro and contra of leaving GIS.

Finally I started to prepare by getting all my valuable assets out of Egmar.
Then it took me another sleepless night and the decision was made to take the chance trying to realize my own ideas in my own corp working together with a conglomerate of corps where my friends reside.

I left GIS and suddenly I was overwhelmed by conversations and questions which I tried to answer accordingly.

Heat among ceartain GIS hotrods boiled over and words like "war declaration", "metagaming", "espionage", "stealing of concepts" were to be heard.
I have full understanding for some people to be disappointed. But I wish they will understand that I had to make my decision. I left for good and my best wishes be with them.

I'll be occupied recruiting german speaking members who want to do all kinds of PVP and who will help me to reach my very ambitious goal to build a respectable and overwhelming armed force available for those offering most ISK.

Dust will settle and hands will be hopefully reached.

Even if my friends and I are Ex-GIS we will never be a GIS-Clone, we have other goals and methods to reach them. When the dust settles, I hope, those being angry now will acknoledge this and hands can be reached again for friendships, then.

Greetings !

days of absent mind

Hi Folks !

Yesterday was a bad day for me ! I trashed two fully Tech2 equipped Thoraxes by sheer stupidity and worst kind of failed micromanagement on my behalf.

Because of some troubles with Sisi (EVE Testserver), Training was cancelled and the trainer decided to go for a roaming with cruisers and frigs instead. So I joined that fleet when I entered the game and burned my Thorax through half of the Lowsec to reach them.
Girlfriends can be really nasty, so my friend left and suddenly I found myself leading the bunch.
We found two pirate gangs. One was a little bit too strong for us and the other seemed to be just the size we wanted to fight with. Only trouble was they were not too far apart from each other. I took the risk and tried to avoid the first and sent in some victim for the second. Our scout got aggressed and so our bunch went into the battleground. While killing the first 'Cane I was so absorbed fiddling with Overheating and Micromanagement, I forgot to have at least someone check the incoming. Soon we were surrounded by a superior enemy fleet and I gave command to evacuate.
Unfortunately I called for ECM too late, aligned too late, burned my MWD through too late and so I just managed to save my pod. Well ECM went down as well, as that pilot had his own troubles and tried to save himself too late as well.
Those who didn't loose a ship went straight back home. Those who did bought replacements in Rens or Hek whatever they preferred.
I chose to buy myself a brand new Thorax in Rens equally equipped as the one I had before.
I burnt it through to Amo and went for my home.
In TeamSpeak I heard about a blinky roaming gang of battleships and the like in Egmar.
Noone told anything in TS about that gang leaving Egmar and I forgot to check the Intel-Channel as well.
When I entered Klogori I saw the whole lot of them surrounding me and stupid mishaps on my behalf followed. Instead of nearing the gate immediately I gave a warp command to the next gate. Half a second before entering warp I got tackled. Then I decided to burn through to the gate, but instead of clicking the gate I brainlessly klicked at a station. When I finally realized my error I tried to correct, but it was too late. Too many webbers on me, too much damage on my not so hefty tanked thorax and dead soon. I safed my pod the second time and enjoyed cursing to myself for a while. being docked in a nearby station.

Things didn't go very well for me recently in EVE. Overloaded with work in Real Life I hardly found time to play it. Then I forgot to upgrade my clone after a suicide-run in 0.0 and lost nearly 1'000'000 Skillpoints and my beloved Battleship V Skill with it at the next run about two hours later. (Be lucky you didn't hear my curses, then - especially because I instructed my fellow comrades not to forget that at the same moment I forgot it for myself).

PvP is an intensive Sport and it requires you, at least if you want to win/survive, to be mentally fit or to field an invincible blob outnumbering any enemy by at least 2 or 3:1.
If you however want to fight Battleships with Cruisers, T2 ships with T1 Junk, you have to be clever, your fleet has to be well balanced and your pilots have to be well trained and skilled.
Taking such risks means your kill:loss ratio will drop but you will and you must learn.
Learn about those damned Curses, those Vagabonds, those Hurricanes, those Blackbirds and all other dangerous ships. You must learn, how to use your ship optimally, how to fight and how to flee at the right moment.
It's definitely not easy and you shouldn't take such risks when you are overworked and tired and thus not mentally fit at all, as I did.

Now I'll buy myself another brand new Thorax.
I'll see how long it'll last this time.

Have a nice day and thanks for reading !

crystal blue eyes

In Evati there is a Disco of a special kind.
It's not the sound, because they play modern sound of all kinds allthough you'd hear the whole spectrum of danceable sounds.
It's not the people as such with the exception that you would not only find one single generation like teenagers, but all generations and ages of people who feel like dancing.
What makes that Disco special is: You don't do solo dancing there, at least if you don't want to look stupid.
Yes ! There is only pairwise dancing there and with modern sounds in a full house !
It's a place where men are still real men and women are real women.
It's the place where Humpfgrunz lives and dreams of all day. It's his personal drug.

The most fascinating eyes are a special kind of blue ones. Eyes, in a light shade of blue where small dark lines give them a crystallish look. This are eyes of the kind which once stole Humpfgrunz' soul. He's grown older by now and he is immune but those crystal blue eyes still fascinate him whereever he meets them.
So he stands on the dancefloor looking into such eyes, having every single muscle under tension and waiting for the next piece of music to begin.
The owner of those eyes opposing him on that floor is the hell of a cat. Not only has she danced in the highest class of latin-dancers internationally, but she is throughly trained and an expert in kickbox-aerobics. You'd trash Lara Croft in exchange for her !
The tension rises with the start of the intro. Both bodies wave synchronous to the music and all hands touch each other's hands.
With the first beat he pushes her right hand into a backplace step where her right foot touches the ground behind her and her left feet is shortly lifted from the ground just to touch it again with the arrival of the second beat. She then takes the energy of his tearing left hand to make a huge step ahead finishing it at the third beat and finishing the move at the fourth beat with a sharp 180° turn. He did the same, so they face each other again having changed places. Then they change place again, but instead of letting her do a large step ahead he leads her into a three step turn. The next few beats he leads her into various figures letting her spin and counterspin, does a doublespin himself. Armes get crossed and straigt again. Then after both have become familiar the dance is lifted to the next level. Moves stop being linear, so e.g. the long step gets prolonged up to three beats instead of one, just to be finished in an explosive move. He catches her in and sends her out where she sends her hand straigth to heaven starts twisting her body while her hand moves down on it and she folds to her knees and gets up again showing off herselves. Then she uses lasting tension of his hand to get into the beat again and a few moments and another three step turn later he has his right hand at her neck and lays her down with her having her left hand straight out as well as her left foot. He lifts her slowly the next few beats and just in the moment she fully stands on her feet again he gives her shoulder a spin with the hand which was at her neck a few moments before.
A few moments later she raises the level of the dance again by not just following his leads, but by breaking out and shaping the movement herselves. She starts exposing the cat she thoroughly is.
Now both look constantly deep into each other's eyes, she into his brown ones and he into her crystal blue ones, just to foresee each others intended moves.
Now there are explosions and slowdowns, twists, spins, three step turns, counterspins, breaks and breakouts, action and reaction.
It's the moment when time gets forgotten.
About two hours and thousands of moves later, both fully exhausted smile and thank each other for the dance and then seek for a drink as soon as possible.

Every man and every woman bear their own dance within themselves.
If both manage to give their inner beast the freedom it needs a new dance is born a miracle like a prayer to a higher being. While living that dance you are relieved from any burden which life puts on your shoulders. It's only you, those crystal blue eyes and moves in the river of emotions.

The day I'll die will be the day I'll repeat that dance again leaving this world when it finishes.

birth of a soldier

Hi folks !

Humpfgrunz was born the 18th of june 2008. He's name was chosen by its godly creator because this char was his first and thus experimental char to enter EVE Online. He was ment to do everything wrong which can be done wrong just to be removed after a few days or weeks and be replaced by new chars doing right what he had wrongly done.
"Charisma" sounds cool thought his creator and made him a Gallentean Activist of the Federal Navy academy with an extremely high charisma.
The next few days Humpfgrunz was busy flying missions and cursing about the lousy bounties.
In some help-channel he got the advice to use a salvager, so he bought the skill and began to salvage the missions.
The loot seeming most useful was mounted on his ship, so he soon flew a tristan with autocannons, cap booster and overdrive since he couldn't use neither afterburner nor microwarpdrive then.
To survive missions he flew them in so called "takeout runs" that meant he entered the mission, killed some ships and left for a nearby station to recover his shield. He wondered why his shields tanked so badly and chose to equip his Gallentean frig with a shield booster.
A week or two later Humpfgrunz began to fly a destroyer. First he tried to equip his Catalyst with lasers but those pesky things used too much capacitor, so he chose railguns because he wanted the range. Because that ship had a hangar for one drone he chose to use a mining drone which he could direct to some nearby asteroids for a little extra income.
He needed that income, since he lost ships and fittings as well as some then overly expensive +2 Implants when his autopilot chose to take a shortcut through 0.0. Lowsec wasn't such a problem, though he didn't know better than to fly with autopilot and to speed those endless journeys up a bit he just kicked on the microwarpdrive everytime he got out of a warp. (some few weeks later he realized that manual flying was possible and even faster than using that supid autopilot).

Now that the first month of his existence had passed, his godly creator chose to stop learning everything just by doing and to start collecting tutorials, informations and software just to support his creation in EVE Online. Tutorials were read, EFT and EVEMon installed, forums were read and the wisdom of others applied to the skilling plans, fittings and actions of Humpfgrunz.
The time was ripe to get into collective action and to join a corporation. Humpfgrunz wanted company and thus he set up his criteria: 0.0, PvP and mission running as well as insight into other activities possible in EVE Online. In the belief to have found what he sought he joined the Corporation "Die LIGA" (the league).
Those guys were friendly and really helpful. Tax was really low at 5%. Humpfgrunz ran missions up to Level3 by then grinding standing with several agents.
Flying in a small group through Providence (CVA-Area) every second week for hours avoiding any real targets was called PvP and once our Humpfgrunz landed in a bubble with his friends and all reapproched the gate and went on in their journey. Due to the lack of knowledge he naturally chose to use his mission thorax with armor reppers and Capacitor Power Relays in the lows as well as their pendants in the meds just to keep that ship capstable.

Then there were the wars. Cool ! Some idiot declared war on us, Humpfgrunz thought, just to realize that Voicecomms (TS) became empty in that time as well as nearly everyone suddenly was very busy at being absent. Others suddenly were about 30-40 jumps away to be found.
Humpfgrunz knew he couldnt fight a Sleipnir neither with his Thorax, nor with his Myrmidon. At least not with his current skills and soon he began to skill for better resistence on his ship, for being able to ECM and ECCM, for being able to use Warp Disruptors and Warp Scramblers while he sat on station waiting for friends defending the corporation.
Once a week together with the CEO and some friends Humpfgrunz made in that corporation they indeed managed to get a fleet of about 10 Pilots together. But the wartargets chose to stay docked then or just to stay within docking range. It was boring and it was frustrating.

The CEO of Die LIGA, who didn't want to spend the money for creating an alliance, chose to enter a pact with some other companies as e.g. Hital. This pact meant that we'd declare war on any foe who would declare war on one of our allied companies. And finally it meant we had lots of wars. We did joint operations together with the other corps, but the largest fleet we had out of over 500 members was the size of just more than 20 participants.
We lost ships in the dozens and we just killed one or two. It was frustrating.
Humpfgrunz started intensive discussions within the corporation. He expressed all his frustration with the wimpy behaviour of the members. He didn't understand why all this guys and women (yes there were !) did collect billions of ISK other than to have it blown up in PVP.

One of our allied companies, Hital, chose to rent some professionals to handle the problem with Highsec wardeccing idiots with advanced station camping skill V. Hital rent GIS, Gemeinschaft interstellarer Soeldner. Suddenly our wartargets were docked all day, their homebase secured and suddenly they weren't able to undock for more than a few seconds without being killed.

Humpfgrunz was impressed. This GIS folks did what he would like to have done.
Then came the message that one of his friends at Die LIGA left and went to become a GIS member. Humpfgrunz wanted to be there, too and thus started a conversation with his overly enthusiastic friend. After that discussion he immediately dropped all his rights in his current corporation and the next days he got into a conversation with the recruiting officer.
A few moments later, one week after his friend, he was GIS member himself.

A soldier was born.

This will change soon and you'll get insight into the soul of a deadly GIS mercenary !

Meanwhile I'm fiddling with the design of this page.
